Everything in writing before anything moves.
How we decide what can be sold, who buys it, what they may do with it, and how your clients are protected.
Specific rights and obligations are set out in the written agreement for each transaction.
- 01
Eligibility
We only transact on data your brokerage has the right to sell or license. Before terms are drafted, we review your client agreements, carrier agreements and producer contracts with you to confirm scope.
- 02
The buying entity
Every agreement names the legal entity buying or licensing the data. You will know who it is before you sign, not after.
- 03
Permitted uses
The agreement states what the data may be used for, typically training and evaluating AI models, and what it may not be used for, including underwriting or marketing to your clients.
- 04
Payment
Purchases are paid on signing. Licenses are paid annually in advance. Amounts and dates are fixed in the agreement.
- 05
Onward licensing
If the data may be licensed to anyone beyond the named buyer, the agreement says so, to whom, and on what terms. If it says nothing, it may not.
- 06
De-identification and delivery
Insured names, personal information and identifying details are removed before data leaves your control. You choose the export method and approve the delivery schedule.
- 07
Confidentiality
Your name, your brokerage’s name and the terms of any deal stay confidential unless you choose otherwise. Buyers see the data card, never your identity.
